In August 2009 to celebrate our 40th year in the Incinerator Theatre ILT hosted a number of special events and if anyone would like to share their photos or thankyou's to the theatre please send them to Publicity Officer Melinda Park at urmoo79@hotmail.com as we would love to share them with our many visitors to the website. All of these functions were a tremendous success and our biggest ever cast party was a great night with over 120 people swapping stories and enjoying the theatre we have all come to know and love. Items available for purchase are: Stubby Coolers, Girly Stubby coolers (for Vodka Cruisers etc), DVD which has video footage from our members, still photos from way back when to now a days, Coffee Mugs, and our wonderful Burning Brightly Book written by Life Member Helen Pullar that was launched during the celebrations and is a wonderful addition to our first book Rising from the Ashes which is also available.

Special Edition Burning News Celebrating 40 Years

Art Gallery - Firstly we have secured space in the Ipswich Art Gallery in the Queensland Times Gallery to host an Exhibition outlining the history of ILT with still images, digital presentations, and memorabilia which will be on display from July 30 until September 13. As well as this, our sub groups S - Troupe, Smartarts, Young Theatricals, Daytime Theatre Troupe & Tourific Troupers will each perform several times throughout August in the area which was the old Town Hall stage. Details of dates and times will be featured on our web-site, in Gallery publications and the local media. Judy Grant & Di Johnston have spent many hours researching in preparation for this and the Art Gallery staff have designed and prepared the display.We hope members and theatre audiences old and new will visit the Gallery and enjoy this glimpse of our history.
