A Theatre Supper Season

Bookings for Public Nights of the Deckchairs season ( 8pm December 8,9,15,16) opened Sunday 1 October. These nights will take the form of Supper Nights with delicious hot and cold finger food served to your table in the theatre courtyard at interval to be followed by finger food, sweets, tea and coffee at the conclusion of the plays.

Tickets are $25 each and can be booked by ringing Robyn Flashman on 3812 3450.

Deckchairs is a selection from Jean McConnell’s 3 volumes of plays all set on the promenade of an English seaside town. The four comedies chosen each have a cast of two women and explore the relationship between them and how their lives have become entwined.

Each play also has “sting in the tail” or surprising twist at the end and promises to be great entertainment with lots of laughs.

The audition showcased the depth of talented actresses Ipswich Little Theatre enjoys.
