Experience a talk and guided tour of this unique and historic building which began its life as the Ipswich Municipal Incinerator in 1936. Since 1969, following its conversion to an intimate theatre seating 80, it has been the home of Ipswich Little Theatre. 

Enjoy morning, afternoon tea or lunch in the theatre courtyard. The courtyard is wheelchair accessible, as are the toilet facilities. The Incinerator is a fully licensed venue with a bar from which you can purchase a large range of alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices. 

Be entertained by a short play on the Incinerator Theatre stage. This is optional and can be a 10, 20 or 30 minute performance to suit your itinerary. Plays are performed by our very own “Tourific Troupers”, a group formed specifically to entertain Tour Groups visiting our theatre.
